The deal calls for 2.33 million pounds of cannabis and is noted as “the largest single flower and biomass order in history post legalization.”
The team at RSAMMDA Dr. J operates the 5000 Hectare New Castle Farm as well as federally issued hemp permits issued by the Government of South Africa.
The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index of cannabis is at nearly $900 per pound with 68% of transactions (one standard deviation) in the $527 to $2,075 per pound range putting the expected deal value & revenue at nearly $1,000,000,000 USD.
