Web experts have warned Internet users that they are being watched as they navigate around pornography sites and adult content. A few studies carried out by the experts found that some websites are sending details about users’ browsing history to third parties. The lack of privacy could cause major problems to anyone when they watch porn online.
Online pornography is holding primary uses over the Internet. Currently, it comprises 30 percent of the Internet. The biggest websites are receiving billions of visits each year and they are larger than the combined traffic of web giants Amazon, Twitter and Netflix.
Few websites are running smoothly. They are including privacy policies to allow users to understand how their data is being used. The website containing Brazzers category in their tag list is considered safe because it is a reputed and legitimate pornographic company. But the users who visit illegitimate adult content on the Internet do not actually know what is happening with them because most of the websites, except reputed websites, are leaking data to other web companies.
In a recent study, researchers from Microsoft, Carnegie Mellon, and the University of Pennsylvania, studied the adult websites with the help of some tools and found out what data is being sent on to third parties. 74 percent of the websites were sending information to Google about what their users were looking there.
