Staying physically fit isn’t just something that most people do to look good; it’s also one of the best ways to stay healthy. Gyms were made to allow people to join together towards the goal of staying healthy and fit. In the heart of St. Charles Parish, Louisiana stands Pulse Fitness Gym.
Lane and Robert Daspit started pulse Fitness. They both shared the same love for working out and doing many exercises, one of the many things they had in common. Robert and Lane also belonged to multiple gyms at the same time.
When they found out that the gym they met at had gone out of business, they saw an opportunity. Together, they decided to combine everything they loved to do in the gyms they were members of and rolled all those into one, giving birth to Pulse Fitness.
Pulse Fitness became a boutique gym that offered something for everyone. They welcome anyone, from beginners to athletes looking for speed and agility training to serious weightlifters to seniors. Their programs aren’t just limited to weightlifting and yoga but include classes in boxing, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), step, core, senior specialty circuit, Les Mills, and strength training.
Pulse Fitness is the only gym in St. Charles Parish that offers Les Mills “The Trip,” a virtual journey that takes members to places far away on different adventures in every class. The gym also offers personal training for people looking to motivate them, specialty training, and small group training.
Having been members of several gyms, Lane and Robert knew exactly how to make their members and those interested feel right at home. They added special lightings to create an ambiance the moment people walked through the doors. They also commissioned local artists to paint graffiti art on the walls to give them a contemporary look. To make their gym even more impressive, they added sports memorabilia to give it a familiar feel. Robert and Lane put the icing on the cake when they installed a boxing room and a spin theater.
Taking advantage of technological advancement, Robert and Lane created a custom app for Pulse Fitness members, giving them access to the minute club news, promotions, class schedules, and even the option to purchase news services and products. The up-to-date technology also lets members reserve their spot in classes, so they no longer fret about getting to the gym half an hour early to ensure a spot and the risk of showing up only to find out that the class was completely booked and get turned away.
The ambiance, programs, and innovation are enough to make anyone choose Pulse Fitness as their designated fitness partners, but what really brings people back is the staff. They are not just qualified to train but also build connections with their members, genuinely making them feel like family.
With the success that Pulse Fitness has garnered so far, Robert and Lane are hopeful to grow the Pulse Fitness brand into hotels and more storefronts soon.
