Amaru Son, aka Ja’Kealon Amaru Chase, is 22-year-old Missouri based artist that has successfully stepped out of his cities’ boundaries. Amaru has been making head way with the melodic sounds of his successful 2019 tracks “Lost & Found” “L.A.” “Kirito’s Revenge” and his 2020 release “Him & Him”. He also just dropped his latest project called “Sad Boy 2” which was inspired by the likes of Juice WRLD, Trippie Redd and XXXTENTACION,
Born July 29th, 1997, in Kansas City, Missouri, Amaru Son would have never thought about reaching the type of attention he has been given over the past year. He dropped out of college in 2016 to pursue his music career despite resistance from his parents.
Luckily, when Amaru Son went back home, he came across people who made music around his city. He became close with them and those people inspired him to start making music as the months went on. Amaru barely knew what he was doing, but started down a path of a lifetime.
With the help of his mom and the people around him, he decided to start pursuing a career in music and release songs without caring what other people thought. Although he started out more as a rapper, Amaru Son has moved into being more of a singer. His unique melody choices and writing style set him apart from the crowd.
