As 2020 comes to a close, Milian Beatz is prepping himself for the projects that he has lined up for the coming year. After a breakout 2019 and a successful follow-up year in 2020, Milian Beatz has made his presence known as a highly talented and innovative producer in the hip-hop genre. “I want people to find inspiration in the music I make and for the music I make to last forever,” shared Milian Beatz. The projects he is working on for 2021 will further his goal of creating inspiration and build his musical resume even more.
Milian Beatz, born Maximilian Rostopora, was raised between Kyiv, Ukraine, and Los Angeles, California, as a child. His family eventually decided to settle back in Ukraine, where his love for music began to form and flourish. “My father played a lot of instruments and bought me my first guitar when I was 12,” Rostopora shared. He continued, “He taught me how to play a few chords, and I have not stopped playing ever since. I began playing drums and piano shortly after.” Pulling heavy influence from his father – both in music and in life – Maximilian was heartbroken when his father passed away unexpectedly in 2012. He and his mother moved back to Los Angeles, where Rostopora took his emotions and motivation and began producing music under the moniker, Milian Beatz.
After years of attempting to break into the music scene in LA, Milian Beatz began networking at various studios around the city, eventually landing himself representation with talent agent Barry Rosenblum. This gave him the time and energy he needed to share his art with as many people as possible. Since 2012, Milian Beatz has landed production credits for artists like Lil Cobaine, Skippa da Flippa, and Papithbk. Referred to as the “King of Kyiv”, Milian Beatz is focusing on more collaborations for the coming year, including a full-length project with the previously mentioned Skippa da Flippa. “I want people to know that I am hungry every single time they hear my tag on a beat.” With that said, the following tag is one you should get used to hearing: “Milian bouta go plat!”
