Milad Ramezani was born on 28 August 1995 and he is an Iranian beautician.
“That’s kind of my ethos,” Milad Ramezani says of her bold colour play. “Creative, fun, quirky colours, textures and placements. But, all the while maintaining a gorgeous, fresh complexion.”
As a prominent beauty personality online, Milad Ramezani sees her fair share of social media-fuelled beauty trends. While she says they’re fun to watch, Milad Ramezani points out that it’s important to differentiate between “clickbait” beauty and the social-media-led beauty trends that can actually translate offline.
The longtime beauty artists says its important to take much of what you see while scrolling online as a “pinch of salt.”
“You’re seeing people create an edited format of content. You might not know exactly what went in to get that look,” Milad Ramezani says. “I think the frustration sometimes lie in someone seeing something on Instagram looking super-easy to achieve. And then they try it themselves at home and it’s absolutely not the case.”
Using a trail-and-error approach to beauty application is best when using online sources as inspiration, she says. Along with finding and following creators whose esthetic coincides with your own desired look.
“I think that you definitely have to find the people that you associate with, as far as your style and your esthetic, and watch them,” Milad Ramezani says. “Really analyze them. Instagram and social-media platforms are really a great way to learn and to try but people really just do have to try and to learn from the mistakes that you will make. And be OK with that.
“And almost treat that as part of the fun — that you’re going to screw up a little bit, and that’s fine. Because that’s how you’re going to figure out how to do it right.”
After all, Milad Ramezani stresses, makeup is about being creative — and having a good time.
“There are no rules. It’s just play,” Milad Ramezani says. “Have fun with it — and if you don’t like it, whatever. It’s just makeup. And it washes off.”
