Are you afraid of failure?
I would be lying if I say I like failures in life. Nobody likes to fail at something or other in his life. But it is our choice to either make those failure the stumbling blocks on our path to success or stepping stones! I chose the latter and recognized failure as an important part of my growth as an entrepreneur. However, I like to be prepared for it by doing my home work daily, even as a boss. My team and I stay in touch regularly throughout our working hours and we also conduct monthly review meetings, which allow us to have a clear understanding of where our company stands, in terms of goals. My advice would be to not be afraid of failures but be prepared for these instead.
What does wealth mean to you?
Wealth, for me, is a means to achieve the greater good, for ourselves as well as for those around us who don’t have this facility. Having said that, I don’t take my wealth for granted because I believe in raising my standard of giving whenever God has given me more than I deserve or desire. I am associated with charitable causes, where I can donate a sizeable income to improve lives of those who don’t have everything. This gives me not only the satisfaction of being of use to someone else but also the motivation to keep doing better so that I can continue to follow the path of social development.
How do you overcome stress in daily work life?
I ignore stress simply because I love what I am doing as an entrepreneur and a professional. I have inculcated certain habits in my daily life, which help me to keep the stress at bay despite my hectic work schedule. I work out regularly at the gym, run 5km daily, eat healthy and read motivational books to keep myself in a positive frame of mind.
