Brad has years and years of experience and success as a steady eddy in the Mortgage, Real Estate, Home Flipping, Credit Repair, and Vacation Rental industry. He first got into the vacation rental business in 2007, before Airbnb was ever in business and was among the 1st in Salt Lake and Washington County.
What obstacles did he face to get where he is now?
Brad states that wearing multiple hats and owning multiple businesses has always been the secret to his success as a “One Stop Shop” but a struggle as well, especially when finding the balance between them all—staffing, employees, balancing family and business, philanthropy and even being a high school baseball coach for his boys and many others. He survived the crash of 2008, forcing him to pivot and start his vacation rental company, which thrived during the worst economic downturn so far in his life. Many lessons were learned, with many losses and struggles—most notably, he invested a lot of money in a Payday Loan company which had been operating successfully for years and ended up being a Ponzi scheme and Brad lost everything he invested. He’s also had a few business partnerships that were great but didn’t end up working out long term, but he learned a ton about himself and business in the process.
