Scott looks to people who display perseverance, grit, tenacity, and curiosity for business growth and entrepreneurship. When asked about his mission, Scott responded, “What I’m trying to do is to create content, which will, in turn, lead to a community of people that try and better themselves and upskill themselves through those personality traits that will, in my opinion, allow them to be successful at whatever it is they try and do in their life.”
Scott has a few key factors that he attributes to his growth and success as an entrepreneur.
- Curiosity: Learn to be okay figuring things out on your own
- Self-awareness: Have an idea of what your blind spots are and learn how to fill them.
- Tenacity and Perseverance: Get through the hard times
“The definition of success definitely has changed over time. I think that when we’re all young, we’re a little bit naive as to what success is,” Scott said when asked for his definition of success, as he believes young people are too focused on monetary growth as a sign of success.
“When you start making money, you realize that the definition of success is no longer tied to money, it’s tied to freedom.” In Scott’s mind, true success is when you don’t feel trapped but can do what it is you love.
The list of achievements and merits of Scott Clary is endless, and he believes he has just begun.
