Running can help you build muscles, but only in the lower legs. it is the intense weight-training that plays the game in increasing muscle mass and losing body fat. “When hitting the gym floor, love the weights and give your best in every set of the exercise. Strength training creates a level of muscle damage which we recover through the in-take of protein after every workout”, he stated. Moreover, the damaged muscle increases metabolism rate after the exercise during the recovery and repair process. So, for Ray, strength training is better than the cardio exercises any day.
