From Qena, Egypt, young Ali Adel has won the love of Arabic audience. He has been awarded the best talented actor in the Republic of Egypt thrice. He started his career with roles that had less screen time but now, the artist is looking forward to his debut into Indian film industry.
Adel has worked in the popular series named Hanan Wa Haneen which was made by Inas Bakr and featured popular personalities like Omar Sharif, Samia Aafif and Samira Abdelaziz. He says his acting career took a leap in 2009 when he worked on ‘Ehky Ya Shahrazad’ and ‘Hala and Almstahbi’.
2012 was important for him as he got to portray important roles in popular series and presented the first star in the film German. The series and films became popular with the audience. He was really happy about the development as Adel has seen roadblocks in the initial years in the industry.
Adel says that it is a turning point in any artist’s career when they get to perform in other states. It changes the motivation, energy and confidence level of the actor. The move will require acquiring new skills and learning new languages but it is exciting as the turning point is not structured and predictable.
The actor points out that becoming an artist is not that hard as it is one of the few jobs in the world where people just declare themselves an actor even before they get their first audition or job! He further says that there is no singular best part of artistic career. It is no easy job to have. One has to keep enjoying the path and not think of an ultimate destination. “We need to keep making art that speaks to our passions, interests and even causes and look for satisfaction there”, he signs off.
